In order to ensure that we film in realistic locations with have written to the managers of the permises we wish to use to ask permission to film.
The village practice
Dear Manager of the village practice,
As part of our A2 media studies coursework we are expected to develop a plot for a film and then create the trailer for it. Our group has produced a plot for a horror film based on a disturbed psychologist. To obtain a high a grade as possible it is integral that we have realistic filming locations, one of which needed is a doctors office; we would appreciate it if you took the time to read the following synopsis of the film and would consider allowing us to film on your premises.
‘Somewhere in a small, quiet village in the north of England a sick and twisted psychologist tampered with the minds of innocent young vulnerable girls in need of help. Three college students Katie, Cassie and Emily all have their own personal problems and in desperate need of someone’s help, however they turn to the wrong man to tend to their needs.
Emily and Katie are ex patients of the disturbed Dr ¬Cortĕ however the public are lead to believe they were too troubled to save, little did they know Dr ¬ Cortĕ liked to violently torture the messed up girls and use them as his little puppets. Cassie, Dr Cortĕ’s new patient has continuous night terrors concerning two girls. When Cassie first meets the Dr she notices numerous photos on his wall in his office of young girls who resemble the girls from her nightmares, when questioned who they were the Dr responds his ex patients, sparking concern for Cassie as to why she’s seeing them on a night time, suicidal, Cassie becomes extremely confused and delirious. Has the doctor got into her mind as well? Is she the doctor’s new little doll to play with?
Cassie, sleepwalking one night finds herself walking down the corridor of the Dr’s sick clinic and winds up finding the two ex patients of the Dr’s tied up in bed. Releasing the girls which don’t seem to be human more ghostly they try to escape the sickening torture of the repulsive Dr and end up in a near by forest’
